Welcome to mighty meds, I’m Swastika Maity; a small-town girl from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. With a background in pharmacy, a master’s degree in Pharmacology, and a Ph.D. under the prestigious ICMR fellowship, my journey has been one of exploration and discovery in the world of medicines, yet, amidst the rigorous academic pursuit, my true passion/ hobby has been writing. 

Instead of drowning in bulk reading, I use to find solace in creating conscious notes, distilling complex information into easy snippets. This passion for simplification led me to create this blog- a space where I can channel my love for writing into something meaningful. As a mother of a lively toddler, wife of an Army personal, sister of a Gen Z woman, daughter of a school teacher and a agricultural scientist, daughter-in-law to a accountant and a home maker; I’ve been fortunate to witness a diverse perspectives and experiences surrounding medicine. Understanding the varied mindset about medicines amongst my loved once and spark the idea of creating the blog with a blend of personal insights, professional expertise, a passion for simplifying complex concepts, I am to make medicine understanding easier.
